What is a jiggle peek trainer?
It is an interactive timing drill for the moment when a target appears from cover. It trains pre-aim discipline, edge detection, and the final click; it is not a network simulator or a substitute for in-game movement practice.
Does this measure my true human reaction time?
No. The result includes visual processing, mouse or touch input, display refresh, browser scheduling, frame timing, and the game’s scoring rules. Compare your own sessions under the same setup rather than treating the number as a clinical measurement.
Why is the crosshair offset from the cover edge?
A small offset gives the target room to travel during perception and motor delay. The useful distance depends on target speed, screen scale, display latency, and the player’s own reaction distribution.
Should I prioritise speed or accuracy?
Start by keeping accuracy stable, then reduce the time window. A faster average with many edge misses usually means the task has exceeded your controllable difficulty.
Is peeker’s advantage reproduced here?
Only the visual timing problem is represented. Real peeker’s advantage also depends on network latency, server tick, interpolation, client frame time, and both players’ movement, none of which a local canvas can reproduce faithfully.
What should I record between sessions?
Record the browser and display, duration, penalty setting, average reaction, accuracy, peak level, and maximum combo. Those fields distinguish a real improvement from a change in conditions.
Why does a high-refresh monitor change my score?
A higher refresh rate samples motion more frequently and can reduce display quantisation, but it does not remove visual or motor delay. Your score remains specific to the whole device and browser chain.
How long should an angle-holding session last?
Use short, repeatable blocks such as 5–10 minutes, then pause. Stop when accuracy or comfort drops; fatigue changes eye movements and mouse control.
Can this replace Valorant or CS2 practice?
No. It isolates detection and click timing. In-game practice is still needed for counter-strafing, movement, map geometry, sound cues, recoil, and decisions under networked play.
Is the drill free and does it require an account?
Yes. It runs in a modern browser without an account or installation. Scores are stored locally by the drill’s browser storage and can vary if that storage is cleared.
